Frequently asked Questions
Am I a good candidate for microblading?
Microblading is not recommended for any clients who are or have:
Pregant
Diabetic
Viral Infections/ diseases
Epilepsy
Pacemaker and/ or major heart problems
Had an organ transplant
Tendency towards keloids
Seborrheic dermatitis
Skin irritations around the brow area (rashes, acne, etc)
Sick (cold, flu, etc)
Allerigic to anesthetic (Lidocaine) or nickel
How long does it take?
The procedure can take up to 2.5 hours.
This is because there are several stages involved in Microblading, Ombre Powder, and the Combo. The desired shape, arch, and thickness of the brows have to first be outlined and drawn in before the actual procedure can begin. This is to ensure that things look exactly the way you want them to. It’s a delicate process that requires precision and attention to detail.
Does it hurt?
It can, but GOOD NEWS!
After your shape and pigment are agreed upon, you will then be pre-numbed using a Lidocaine pre-numb cream.
Once the first part of the procedure has the skin fragmented, then a generous amount of Topical Anesthetic will be rubbed into the skin. This can be re-applied if necessary during the procedure. It is safe and effective! “I’m not shady with the numbing”
How long does it last?
The pigment used in all procedures are semi-permanent and can last between 1-2 years.
The pigment will eventually begin to fade at 12 months. In order to keep your brows looking fresh, a touch-up is recommended every 12 months-24 months maximum.
